Erik's sister Heather would like to compile a book for him. We are inviting anyone who would like to contribute to do so. If you want to share a memory, story or any thoughts you may have about Erik please send them to Heather at heather.erickson@connect2.com. We would like to get this book together for Erik within the next few days. If you would like to pass this info on to anyone else you think may be interested in participating please feel free - we would like to give everyone the opportunity to share.
Thanks.

Erik and Emily, I'm so sorry to hear about your hard times. I haven't looked at your blog for a long time. I will frequent it more so I can keep updated with how Erik is doing. I'd love to come by some day just to say hi. I'll call you Erik and set up a day and time.
Oh Emily, I am so sorry. You and Erik have fought so bravely. My prayers are with you all. I'm so happy you two had the wonderful trip to NY before all this started again. I pray the Lord will strengthen you and your beautiful family. Love, Lynda (Hansen)
Erik and Emily-
I am so sorry to hear what you are going through right now!! I have been reading your blog for the last year and I fell behind for a while. The last I saw was how great Erik looks with hair :) I hope you remember me and all the nights we spent, the three of us on 7th floor at Utah Valley hospital. I never saw Erik with hair, by the time I started taking care of him, it was all gone! Life isn't fair and it sure isn't predictable but we know that there is more to come and that part is predictable!! You two are amazing. I have taken care of lots of people while getting chemo but you two touched me and have always been in my mind! Please know that I am thinking of you both and your precious little boys! Enjoy what you have and smile each day. I would love to visit with you but don't want to inturupt your special time. Know that you are in my prayers and on the top of my "strong people I know" list!!

Erik and Emily, Grandma/La Rue told me what was going on when I talked with her the other day on the phone. Since then you and your boys have been in our prayers and thoughts constantly. Even though we only get to see you guys once a year (if that) we love you and are praying for you at this time.
Erik and Emily, our thoughts are with you and are prayers as well. If there is anything you need, please feel free to ask. I mean that. You have many friends and neighbors around you that would do anything to help and comfort you at this time. I am so in awe of the strength of both of you. What a fine example you have been to us and the young men and women of the ward. We love you.
